I am Vince or Vinny to some folks. Born and raised in Battle Creek MI. I always loved being outdoors; mostly playing sports and running around the neighborhood. I fell in love with the woods at 13 when my dad moved to the country and bought me a bow. He put me in a tree for my first hunt (no camo, no tree stand, no safety harness and no clue). That night I missed a doe and couldn't believe the adrenaline rush! 29 years later, I got my FIRST deer at my uncle's cabin! The following year, I met a friend who taught me how to hunt.

Today, I am married. We have many kids and grandkids from previous marriages. All enjoy the outdoors in one fashion or another. I have had an archery store, an outdoor adventure camp and a nonprofit that took kids hunting and fishing as well adults who were physically disabled or terminally ill. All of those provided great experiences but now I'm onto Land and Habitat Improvement. I've learned a lot over the years about habitat improvement thanks to the internet and my personal experiments. I know the benefits of implementing strategies and proven practices and want to help others realize the potential and pleasure of their properties whether it be while hunting or simply being out in nature. I love to help others succeed and want to help you do so.
